Who operates VeganAdda

VeganAdda is operated by Pravin Chaudhary as an individual. There is no registered company or organization operating this service. For privacy questions, account or data requests, or to raise a concern, contact Pravin.chaudhary@gmail.com.

Your profile, your choice

Only profiles that opt into public visibility appear to visitors. Your name, photo, city, state, country, profession, bio, interests, non-dating intentions and optional links are shared on your profile. Birth month and year are required when saving your profile. Your age is shown, while birth details stay private. Adding an optional birth day enables a birthday highlight on your profile. Do not add private contact information to these fields.

Signed-in members can discover nonpublic profiles. Dating intention is visible only when both members opt in. Event attendees appear only to signed-in members when they separately choose attendee visibility. Complete profiles are discoverable without vegan verification. Moderators review verification requests; ordinary profile edits preserve verification.

Location lookup

Using “Detect my location” requests browser location permission and sends your current coordinates directly to BigDataCloud to find your country, state and city. BigDataCloud also receives your IP address and uses anonymised coordinate and network signals to improve its geolocation data. VeganAdda saves the country, state and city when you save your profile. You can optionally choose to save your precise coordinates for distance-based discovery. Coordinates are private and are never included in profiles shown to other members or in moderation responses. Uncheck “Save precise location” and save your profile to remove them. You can enter your country, state and city manually instead.

Nearby discovery uses your current coordinates only for that search and does not save them or update your profile location. Radius results include only members who chose to save precise coordinates.

Google sign-in and account data

If you choose “Continue with Google,” Google and Firebase Authentication process the account details needed to authenticate you and maintain your Firebase account, such as your Google account identifier, email address and profile name. VeganAdda receives a Firebase ID token from the browser and verifies it on our server. We use the verified Firebase user identifier to create or find your VeganAdda account and the profile name to initialize your VeganAdda display name. The Firebase SDK keeps your sign-in session in your browser. VeganAdda’s account database stores a project-specific Firebase user identifier and display name; it does not store your Google email address or password. The ID token is used to verify sign-in and is not saved in the VeganAdda account database. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or other Google services, and we do not sell Google sign-in data or use it for advertising. Firebase Authentication processes sign-in for VeganAdda under Google’s terms and privacy practices.

When an administrator chooses to send a profile reminder to selected incomplete accounts, VeganAdda retrieves the verified email address for each selected member from Firebase Authentication and sends the reminder through the configured email delivery provider. The address is not shown to administrators or saved in the VeganAdda database. The configured email provider processes the address and message to deliver it under its own privacy practices.

Accounts and conversations

Essential session and security cookies keep you signed in and protect form submissions.

Messages are stored on the server and are accessible only to their conversation participants. They are not end-to-end encrypted. Removing or blocking a connection stops further messages but retains existing history for both participants.

Analytics and operational monitoring

In production, VeganAdda can use our self-hosted Umami service at analytics.greenfit.in to count visits to public pages. We exclude private pages, profile and referral identifiers, search parameters, page titles containing personal details, and referrer URLs. We do not send account identifiers, message content, or session recordings. The integration respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. The analytics server receives your IP address and browser information as part of the network request.

When configured, Better Stack receives selected operational warnings, errors and account lifecycle events, such as registration, sign-in and vegan verification changes. These include internal account and reviewer identifiers, HTTP status, response time, route templates or redacted unmatched paths, request identifiers and exception types. We do not include profile content, messages or sign-in credentials in these lifecycle events. We filter exception messages and unrelated properties before forwarding. Better Stack also checks public service health endpoints to detect outages. These services help us understand public usage and keep VeganAdda available.

Vegan verification

Social links you add to your profile are visible to signed-in members who can view your profile and authorized admins and moderators. They are hidden from anonymous visitors. Explanations and evidence links submitted in a verification request are private to you and authorized admins and moderators. If you select a verified vegan referrer, they see a confirmation request on your profile and its status, but not your private evidence. You do not need to be connected. Their response supports a moderator’s decision and does not automatically verify your vegan status. Requests, evidence and review feedback are retained until you delete your account. Deleting a referrer removes their identity from the request.

Deletion and safety

Account deletion removes your VeganAdda profile, relationships, saves, attendance, media and entire conversations involving your account. Your Firebase identity is not deleted automatically. Reports, optional details and screenshots are accessible only to administrators and remain while unresolved; after a report is marked resolved, its contents and screenshots are deleted after 12 months. Deleted account identities are removed from reports. Reports resolved before this schedule was introduced are retained because their resolution date is not recorded.

Access-restricted deployment backups contain database and uploaded media data, including data that may have been deleted from the live service. After a successful deployment, an automated cleanup deletes backup bundles older than 30 days. If deployments stop, expired bundles may remain until cleanup runs again. The operator must delete any separately stored copy within 30 days. Backups are restricted to the service operator.

Service providers and data security

VeganAdda uses Google Firebase Authentication for sign-in, BigDataCloud for location lookup when you request it, and the configured SMTP email provider when an administrator sends profile reminders. The service uses access controls, encrypted HTTPS connections, and restricted server and backup access to protect data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. The privacy practices of these providers are governed by their own terms and policies.

You may contact the operator using the email above to ask about your personal data or request account deletion. We may need to verify that a request comes from the account holder before acting on it. We will respond to requests and privacy concerns through that email address.
